LED Light Opinion

Hello Ladies! I'm here for what may seem to be a small detail, but I was wondering if anyone else used LED tealights in their centerpieces. I bought my pumpkin centerpieces today, and my venue is strict on the candle policy, so I am going for LED.

I was wondering if you ladies used the flickering lights or the ones that stay on all the time? I don't want the wedding to look like a memorial service, if you know what I mean, or if I am just imagining the flicker to be more dramatic than it actually is.

Also, where did you find the best prices on them?

Thanks in Advance!

I personally like the flickering ones myself, as they seem more realistic.

We had the same issue at our venue, as it is historic and they minimize real flames. If you are using them for anything other than the pumpkins, ie for votives etc, they look the most realistic if you have frosted votives, or votives covered with vellum, as the clear glass shows them to be fake.

The best price I found was at Costco last year. I just bought more this year since I allowed everyone from the wedding to take home my candles (rather than bother bringing them back home, LOL). I'm sorry, I don't remember the price, The package has 12 votives and 12 tealight sized battery operated candles, I'm pretty sure it was around $10 or so.

    Good luck.
