Ann Arbor Engagement Photo Ideas

Hey everyone! We are scheduled to do our E-pics Feb 23rd in Ann Arbor. Hopefully there will be some snow. I'm struggling for location ideas. We are getting married on campus, so our wedding photos will be on Central Campus and I'm trying to think of other locations for e-pics. I am thinking rural-ish photos, but any will do. There's so many parks, are there any that stand out?

I did mine there in the fall at the Arb (aka Nichols Arboretum) and it was gorgeous.  There are so many different locations there...open fields, woods, river, train tracks it really gives you a lot of options. 

We also took some in the law quad, which so pretty!

We also did ours at the Arb! I think that Gallop Park would be nice too, with all the ponds and such. Island Park has a cute little gazebo that would be really good for pictures, and it's also right on the Huron River. You should check it out!

The Arb for sure! Are you getting married at the Union or League?

My firens had some amazing ones done in the Arcade near State st. If you are looking for rural areas, drive a few miles away to Dexter- there is an amazing park behind the firestation. Did you consider the Diag? Just look around! There are so many wonderful places!

We are getting married at the Union. That's why we're trying to find a spot other than the diag/law quad/state street area, because we will be taking photos there on the day of our wedding.

We are definitely considering theh Arb, but I was trying to see if anyone had some ideas that may not come to mind at first. Thanks for all the suggestions!

A friend did some of their engagement pictures down the graffiti alley..they turned out awesome!
