Picture location for pictures with bridesmaids and family

I'll be getting ready for my wedding in Shelby Township.. getting married in Detroit and reception in Shelby.  Can you recommend any picture locations for pictures with my bridesmaids and my family that you  recommend?

The DIA, Belle Aisle, the Riverwalk...it depends on the kind of atmosphere you're going for. Detroit really has any kind of backdrop you might need.

If you take pictures of just you, the BM and your family, check out Yates Cider Mill. I'm sure you've been there, I think it's lovely.

What kind of look are you going for?  There are places with just about every look available between the two.

Ditto Entropic. I also would urge you not to think of finding a place just for the BMs and family, assuming you are also having photos of the guys, you and your H, etc. Any backdrop you choose will be good for all of those types of photos, and if you select different backdrops for every photo grouping, you'll spend too much time driving around.

Are you going for an urban look or a more natural look with trees/flowers/etc.? Once you figure that out, you can pick a place. The city of Detroit has great options for both, so I'd personally encourage you to do photos in the city instead of Shelby.
