Printers

We've bought the invites from Michaels, and we're going to try to print them ourselves, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of some affordable printers in the Metro detroit ara that would print on the invites an a reasonable price incase our sample doesn't turn out well.

Thanks!

Do you already have a printer attached to your computer? If so, you won't need to hire someone else. I did ALL my own printing at home on my printer. Worked marvelously

Some things (off-sized, ie smaller than standard paper like envelopes, RSVP cards, etc) have to be hand fed one at a time. But I printed all my program inserts last night, 30 at a time, on paper intended for resumes (thicker than normal printer stock), and they worked out fine as well.

The key is knowing how to "resize" the document on Microsoft word. You have to set the parameters (width and height), the margins (top, sides and bottom). Once you have that down, you can pretty much print anything. You can resize fonts, change from one font to the next, and it will all show whether it fits on your re-sized "document".

I used The Print Stop on 12 mile in Berkley. It's a mom and pop shop. They were fast, inexpensive, and do a great job.
