XP - Bachelorette party w/ underage BM?

My good friend is getting married and I'm helping her friend plan the bachelorette party.  We wanted to do the regular bar thing, but the bride's little sister (who is also in the WP) is only 20.  What would be some fun things to do that don't involve bars?  I've already looked and the Detroit Tiger's aren't playing so that rules out a sporting event.  I know we could do the typical spa-day but I was hoping to come up with an original idea.  Any thoughts?

When is the party planned for? My bridesmaids took me to Lazer Tag for part of my bach. party and it was seriously awesome. Something like that (or paintball) would be fun for a group. If it's planned for summer, you could head to Stoney or someplace similar and going swimming and have a picnic.

You all could always go over to Canada. She would be legal to get into bars, casinos, and drink. I jow it's not downtown Detroit, but it's right over the bridge.

The only problem with Canada is everyone going would have to have the enhanced license or whatever it is you need to get across the border now.

My sister is my MOH and she will only be 19 for my bach party. She offered to be the DD for the night but will probably use a fake ID to get into the bars (if that is what we decide to do).

I totally think laser tag would be awesome though.

What about a concert or a play?  Even if there isn't anything at the "big" places in Detroit, there are several great local theathers that have fun programs much cheaper... University of Michigan campus... Village Theatre at Cherry Hill... I know there is a place in Northville too.

My younger sister is in my wedding party (she is only 13) and I wanted to include her.  So the plan for my bachelorette party is to spend the weekend up north my MOH's parents.  The weekend will include canoeing, tubing down the river, riding the atvs and hanging out by the fire.  If at any point my sister decides she has had enough of us my MOH's younger sister will be there was well at they will be able to find something to do on their own.
This  was perfect for me though, I am not big into the party/bar scene, so a weekend away in the woods sounded perfect.

She's so close in age to being legal that I'd think you guys could come up with a great list of restaurants in walking distance of each other in Royal Oak or Birmingham where you could walk around and "bar hop" the restaurants, have a "small plates" dinner theme and share a dish and have a drink at each one. When carded, she'll be the only one that can't drink, but they just won't serve her.

Another option, depending on what the girls like, is the Creative Arts Studio in Royal Oak. They have a separate room in the back that can be reserved for parties, and you can choose crafts to make to commemorate the event, like glass plates or candle holders, jewelry, or paint-yourself pottery/ceramics. It's just down the street from Andiamo's in Royal Oak and other restaurants. We actually planned this one year for our office Xmas party (we had all women at the time) and it was fun.

Link here to the Studio: http://www.creativeartsstudios.com/

It says you can bring in your own food & drinks, but does not state if that includes alcohol.

My sisters weree under 21, so for my party we went to dinner in RO at Black Finn (they let you block off a section of the restaurant on a Saturday night) and walked to the Comedy Club after dinner.  I believe you just have to be over 18 to get into the comedy club.  It was  a great night.

Any comedy club would be a good idea because she could still get in and the people old enough can drink. I would also recommend, if it's appropriate for the group's taste, to do a pure romance party. When I was a MOH, I included one as the beginning of the nights events before going out at the request of the bride. Then after the presentation, we could purchase things the bride marked in the catalogue as her party gift plus the bride uses the host discount and freebies. Also, the representative I used is absolutely hilarious and so much fun to have around. she's perfect for large groups of girls who are drinking and excited(some reps from parties like this get annoyed by too much talking and noise during the presentation which is somewhat unprofessional and uncomfortable). She is local to metro Detroit area and I have used her two additional times for my own hosted parties. If you are interested let me know.
