For sale in Milwaukee, WI - part 2

This is a continuation of my previous post. I wasn't sure if it would all fit. As I said in my previous post, these are items from my July wedding that were either used once or are brand new because we didn't end up using them. I took great care of all of them so they are all in very good condition. I would like to sell to someone locally. So let me know if you are either from the area, or will be in the area for some reason. If you are interested in any of the items, or would like more information, please email me at ditsyblonde69@hotmail.com. Thanks!

2” square white favor boxes – set on lid 25, 2” square white favor boxes with a set on lid and a Linen texture look, somewhat glossy. They came flat and were a nightmare to assemble, believe me, so that will save you some time. I assembled them all, but ended up not needing them all. I also put pretty silver ribbon on each box in a way that allows you to lift off the lid without breaking the ribbon. This took me quite a few hours, so I thought I’d leave it on in case anyone could use them that way, it would save you quite a bit of time, but I can definitely take it off, if you prefer. The special scrapbook tape I used doesn’t leave any mark, and if it did, it would be on the inside of the box. $8 for all of them.

8 ½ x 11” Shimmery white cardstock 33 pages of shimmery white 65lb cardstock (your standard weight cardstock that you would get at a scrapbook store).  This is beautiful cardstock! We used it to make our own wedding invitations and received tons of compliments on just the paper alone! It’s a very slight shimmer that I was only able to find online. The scrapbook stores only had what I would call glitter paper, and that, in my opinion, is too childish for a wedding. This shimmer paper is very sophisticated and classy looking. You have to catch the light just right to see it, and it just adds a little extra something to your invitations, or whatever you’ll use it for.  $5 for all of them.

8 ½ x 11” Shimmery silver cardstock 70 pages of shimmery silver 65lb cardstock (your standard weight cardstock that you would get at a scrapbook store).  This is beautiful cardstock! 8 ½ x 11” plain white cardstock 77 pages of plain white 65lb cardstock (your standard weight cardstock that you would get at a scrapbook store).  $10 for all of them.

2” square clear glass votive holders  60,  2” square clear glass votive holders. These worked beautifully for our wedding and would be perfect for any party or just beautifying the home. They are in perfect condition. Not a single scratch or chip.  $50 for all of them.

Long roll of white butcher paper 48” wide, 12’ long un-opened roll of white butcher paper. Could be used for crafting or a bulletin board. We used it on the kids table at our wedding so they could color right on the table like at some restaurants. Worked great. Kids loved it. I have what’s left of the roll we used that I will throw in as well, if interested. There’s quite a bit left. Haven’t measured it though.  $5.

Beautiful shiny white wedding canopy  After learning that it would cost $400 to rent a canopy for our wedding from one of the local rental companies, we decided to make our own. We spent just $200 on fabric and sewed it ourselves. We used a beautiful bright white fabric that glows in the sun. And it’s a heavy, quality fabric, not the light, see-through tulle like some canopies. We didn’t just want it to look pretty, we also needed it to block the sun for our outdoor ceremony, as we both have really sensitive eyes. And it worked really well. We have two layers of thick fabric on the top, so it definitely blocks the sun. For the frame, we used a metal one from All Star Rentals in Muskego (www.allstarrentals.net/">http://www.allstarrentals.net/). They rented it to us for just $25! Ask them to set it up in a 6 x 6 square, 9 feet tall. This is the size our canopy is designed for. It sounds big, but trust me, with the bride, groom, officiant, and the officiants table/stand all under there, it’s actually just perfect. It can be weighted down with bricks that can be completely covered by the “legs” of the canopy. We would show you how to set it up, and give you pictures. It was designed by my husband and father-in-law, who are both engineers, so I can assure you, it was done really well. It does have a few small, pea size stains, which are probably just dirt and I’m sure would come out, but I just don’t have the time. It also needs to be ironed, but the fabric can be ironed without wrecking it. We did before we used it. The canopy wasn't completely on when we took these pictures, but you get the idea. It completely covers the poles, and you can tie it in the middle of each pole for the classic canopy look. Or you could tear it apart and use it for the fabric. $100/ OBO.

108 new or used once bic pens We bought a ton of bic pens for our wedding, as we had something at each person’s chair for them to fill out. We only used 60, and they were only used for that night. The other 48 are un-used, in an unopened box (4 boxes of 12). They’re nice pens, I just don’t think we’ll ever use this many pens in our lifetime!  $8 for all of them.

New David’s Bridal Ring bearer pillow – white/purple Beautiful shiny white pillow with a purple band and bling accent in the middle. This was purchased from David’s Bridal to match our wisteria bridesmaids dresses from there, and matches exactly. Our ring bearer ended up dropping out so this was never used and is in perfect condition. David’s Bridal also has a matching flower girl basket. See link below for a picture of the ring bearer pillow. The picture shows the purple and ivory one, because they don’t sell white anymore, but ours is purple and white. David’s Bridal charges $29 for these. I’m asking for $20.

http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_DB-Exclusive-Splendor-Ring-Bearer-Pillow-P618W_Ceremony-Wedding-Ceremony-Ring-Bearer-PillowsNew Grecian style double headband from David’s Bridal Beautiful, super sparkly, very blingy, swarovski crystal, never worn headband from David’s Bridal. See link below for picture. I bought two of these, planning to wear them together with the ends touching by my ears, and then about an inch apart on the top of my head, like a double headbad, very Grecian looking. It looked really cool, but it ended up not working with the hairstyle I wanted so I couldn’t wear it. I have kept them in acid free tissue paper in a box since I bought them so they wouldn’t tarnish as sterling silver can when exposed to light. They’re in perfect condition. The only thing is that I thought the stretchy band they came on was too casual, and looked weird with a very formal, blingy headpiece. So I cut off the stretchy bands and  planned to attach them with bobby pins. Which my hair dresser and I tested and it worked just fine. And looked much better in my opinion. David’s Bridal charges $49 a piece for these. I’m asking for $40 a piece, or $70 for both.
