F/S Milwaukee - Beautiful shiny white wedding canopy

After learning that it would cost $400 to rent a canopy for our wedding from one of the local rental companies, we decided to make our own. We spent just $200 on fabric and sewed it ourselves. We used a beautiful bright white fabric that glows in the sun. And it’s a heavy, quality fabric, not the light, see-through tulle like some canopies. We didn’t just want it to look pretty, we also needed it to block the sun for our outdoor ceremony, as we both have really sensitive eyes. And it worked really well. We have two layers of thick fabric on the top, so it definitely blocks the sun. For the frame, we used a metal one from All Star Rentals in Muskego (http://www.allstarrentals.net/). They rented it to us for just $25! Ask them to set it up in a 6 x 6 square, 9 feet tall. This is the size our canopy is designed for. It sounds big, but trust me, with the bride, groom, officiant, and the officiants table/stand all under there, it’s actually just perfect. It can be weighted down with bricks that can be completely covered by the “legs” of the canopy. We would show you how to set it up, and give you pictures. It was designed by my husband and father-in-law, who are both engineers, so I can assure you, it was done really well. The canopy wasn't completely on when we took these pictures, but you get the idea. It completely covers the poles, and you can tie it in the middle of each pole for the classic canopy look. Or you could tear it apart and use it for the fabric.        $100/ OBO. Please email ditsyblonde69@hotmail.com if interested as I don’t come on this website often. Sorry, I don't have a paypal account or anything so I can only deal locally, unless you want to mail me a check or money order. And some of my items would be way too heavy to ship anyway.
