AW: DIY projects

If TK monster doesn't eat this post...here's a couple DIY projects we finished this week!  I made our giant chalkboard for our seating chart, and FI made a "here comes the bride" sign.  He burned out the letters instead of painting them, which you can't really tell in the picture, but it looks awesome IRL.  He's so proud he DIYed something!

(this one won't do anything but go sideways.  You can also see a rare cameo appearance from my cat, Ninja!)

ok, this one is also sideways.  Grrrrr....

</div><div>Both?  I bought the frame at Value Village for super cheap (because it had an UGLY painting in it) and spray painted the glass with chalkboard paint.  I still need to test it to make sure that it worked, but apparently chalk isn't available at Rite Aid, so I'm making a trip to Staples and/or Michaels tomorrow.  I also made a mini chalkboard to put by the bar with a drink menu, but I forgot all about it when I took pictures!</div>

  • Love the Here comes the Bride sign. We are doing some DIY burning too on our centerpieces. I am also leaving it to the fiance to do. I'm glad he is getting involved in a big part of it. lol.
