Poughkeepsie Brides!!

I am getting married at The Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel in November, i am from West Nyack in Rockland county, i need to help. I need recommendations for a good Make-up person to come to the hotel. Who did you guys use?

I used Arlene from the MAC counter at the Poughkeepsie Galleria.  She is actually a friend of my hair stylist so I trusted her.  She did an amazing job, came to my house (about 40 mins from Poughkeepsie) and was reasonable.

I am using Hendricks.  He used to work a counter at Macys in the Palisades Center Mall, but now at Sephora.  He did my makeup for my e pics and I loved it.

Hi!  No website...I am friends with her on facebook but I would suggest going to the mall and chat.  Like I said, i got in contact with her through my stylist.  You could always call before you go to see if she is working and when so that you could gowhen she is there.  My only suggestion would be when you ask for her, if it is not her, don't say you want bridal makeup.  I say this b/c she did my trial at the counter (it was easier and i honestly didn't mind...don't know if she does that all the time...i think for me we had time contraints) and so she said just not to mention that she was doing my trial.  But she is super sweet and i think she was either 100 or 125.  I also saw someone else once post they used her too.  I loved her and she was so easy to work with and was helpful and explained stuff to me about the makeup.
