I just signed onto this and thought message boards would be a great brainstorming tool with like brides. I'm thinking about a Thursday in August and having my wedding ceremony at 7:30 p.m., followed by reception at the same venue. We are thinking about fancy appetizers, a dessert station, champagne toast, cake. We definitely want celebration and dancing. We are thinking that guests will have already eaten dinner (and we need to find areas to cut back, so tis might be one of them) but we need to make sure that there is enough food, so that people don't leave! We will put something on the invite that indicates (hor dorves, and dancing following ceremony) or something like that. So, I am very open to ideas and suggestions. THANK YOU!
