My FMIL just asked me the other day if she can throw us an engagement party. I kinda feel weird about it because we're getting married in July and the shower will be in early June, but she really wants to host one (haven't had an engagement party, got engaged just before Christmas). We were thinking of doing brunch at our favorite restaurant in Nyack, rent out the room, but it requires use of a staircase and that is going to be difficult for the seniors. We are in Rockland and prefer to stay in Rockland. Any suggestions on a reasonably priced restaurant to rent out a room for either a Sunday brunch or a late afternoon/evening Saturday dinner? She is estimating 30 guests. Thanks!
