another makeup question...

this is particularly for those who did an afternoon wedding and had to take pictures after the reception....did you feel like your makeup needed retouching by the end of the whole thing?? i am trying to see whether it's worth it to just hire a makeup artist for the whole day, but that's obviously a lot more expensive!

any tips would be much appreciated!

if you have blot powder and the same lipstick/gloss color that your MUA used on you, i think you'll be fine to just blot any oily spots on your skin and reapply your lip color as long as nothing extreme happens (crying, very humid or wet weather).

I agree with pp.  I was in two weddings (one my own) recently both with different makeup artists and both different times of day and all i needed was the blot powder and lip stick to freshen up.

I heard airbrushing lasts for hours. Its a little more costly but apparently you have a nice clean look that won't wear off. I think I'm opting for that.
