Catholic Ceremony Program

I am trying to do my programs for my ceremony (not a Mass), but I'm having a hard time with the order.  I have looked online but I am afraid to trust what I have found.  My priest is choosing most of the different parts of the ceremony so I am not familiar with what will be read/sung/said in a ceremony versus a Mass.  

Do any of you know what the order of events are?  I need help!!  Thanks ladies

hi...i am surprised your priest didn't give you guidelines.  For us, he gave us a packet.  In any case, the first reading is supposed to be from the old testament and the second reading is from the new testament. In regards to the order of events, basically, he did an introduction/welcome and then we had the first and second reading, then he did a homily, then we ddi the exchange of vows and rings, and then he did a closing blessing...that was it! It was pretty short!
 I don't have my program with me...but I will let you know the readings when I go home and look at it!

thanks for the info.... he just ran through it really quickly and he's picking everything except for the reading, so i don't have a very good handle on how to structure the program.  Especially since mine is only a ceremony and not a full mass.
