We have been engaged for a month now and we're planning for a 2013 wedding. We would like to book our chosen venue soon, however, we're looking for a place to have an outdoor ceremony. I have heard that the Mills Mansion in Hyde Park, NY allows wedding ceremonies to take place on site. The person from there has not returned my phone calls yet from last week.
Has anyone looked at having their ceremony here or know of any information?

I went to a wedding there a couple of years ago. I believe the person to contact's name is Kathy. Have patience, or call again. Or is it even possible to stop by there during the day? I believe their offices are in the new Taconic regional Headquarters just off of Rte 9 heading into Staatsburgh.

I think the person in charge works limited hours. It's a beautiful place though! I think the rental fee for the grounds is maybe $2500? I don't remember exactly because I didn't end up choosing that location.
