Looking for The Scoop on Dutchess Golf Club

Hi girls.

Hope it's okay that I'm putting up two posts today! :-)

In our many travels yesterday, we went to see Dutchess Golf Club near Poughkeepsie.

I really love it!

Can you share your experiences there? (BTW- apparently they got new caterers on April 8, the same caterers of anthony's pier 9 and...grand view? or was it grand hotel?  Anyway, new caterers not long ago).

    The DCG is a really nice location. My agency that I work for has a fundraiser there every May and the food was good this year. The Grand, Grandview, and Pier9 are all have the same.

    That place is really nice! We looked at it, but realized that it was too far for our guests.

    It is very far for our guests too (we're from NJ) but we wanted the wedding to have a kind of destination wedding feel, and there's a hotel across the street (which would mean no drinking drivers).

    The reviews seem good for the most part... and it has the look we want...

    how do you know when you've found the one?
