Unique Card Setting ideas?

What are some card setting ideas you know? I am looking to try something different then just a plain card with table number and guest to be seated something simple but neat and unique. Any ideas? Thanks

    We did a seating chart.  
    It was placed at the main door to the cocktail hour and then moved to the main door of the ball room. 
    It had our Monogram on it and was placed in a big frame

    We are making place cards that resemble the tickets you get when you visit a national park. Each table will be named after a national or state park we've been to together. On the tables we'll also include a picture of us at the park.
    "A Walk in the Park" will be a subtle theme of ours. The thought it's a nice way to make it a little more personal  :)
