Let me just start by saying that although I read lots of reviews here and on other sites, I rarely write them but I thought I should give my opinion about this hair salon because it was NOT a great experience.
I was a b-maid in a wedding this summer and have been in LOTS of weddings before this ( as well as a bride 4 years ago!). The bride, b-maids, MOB and mother-in-law all got their hair done here at Hair on Hudson and I was very disapointed for many reasons.
1) my hair was a blow out with a few curls and it cost me $100 which I thought was expensive in comparison to what I've paid other times.
2) the main stylist Angela who was doing the bride's hair had a serious attitude and was sarcastic and rude to the bride and other people in our party.
3) while the owner seems nice, he totally lets Angela run the show which I think makes for an unpleasant experience
4) they overcharged the brides credit card and then gave her a really hard time about giving the $ back so much so that her father had to go down to the salon himself.
For brides looking in the Hudson Valley area, I would not recommend Hair on Hudson for your big day... Sorry!
