CrockPot Meatloaf

Hey Ladies,

If you like meatloaf, this is good and you can leave it during the day!  I made this tonight, HH turned the crock pot on for me at like 9:30am and set it for 6 hours . I didn't get home til almost 8pm tonight (my crock pot switches to the keep warm function after the timer runs out).  And it still perfect, not dry at all!!

2 eggs
3/4 c milk
2/3 c seasoned bread crumbs
2 tsp dried onions
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sage
1 1/12-2lbs ground beef

In large bowl, combine 1st 6 ingredients, add beef to bowl and mix well. Shape into a loaf and put in pot, cover and cook on low 5-6 hours

Glaze
1/4 c ketchup
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp brown mustard
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce

mix together glaze and spoon over loaf, cook addtl 15 mins, Let stand 10-15 mins before cutting.


This came out really good, super moist.  Next time I will probably add alittle garlic and/or onion powder to give it a little more zing, but other than that it was delicious!

    I love meat loaf!! AND I love crock pot recipes!!

    My Grandpa used to make meat loaf and since he passed away, it is the ultimate comfort food to me!! :)
