New York-Hudson Valley

Beckwith Pointe review

Every venue has its flaws since no place person or thing is perfect.
Entering venue smelled like the cakes that freshen mens urinals.

Ceremony:
Pros: Outdoor ceremony gorgeous.
This was the first time I have been to a ceremony not in a church and bare with me if things are different. There was no traditional bridal music which I think made it unique Flower girl was there but no flowers thrown on the ground, no bridal runner but these are usually what happens in a church so it may be different outdoors. It was a beautiful ceremony, views.
Cocktail hour:
Pros: Excellent food.
Cons: limited seating
Reception:
Pros: The mirrors made the room look bigger, gorgeous outdoor views.
Cons:Took 20 minutes when guests were seated to lineup and introduce the bridal party and bride/groom but this is b/c the DJ controls the wedding so its not the venue's fault. Bridal party entered main room near guests table and bar which made it very tight. Food: The meat was supposed to be cooked medium per the server when ordering but they all came out well done but overall the food was fantastic. Wedding was great, Justice of the peace did an excellent job overall fine venue. Venetian hour was nice it was a mini venetian hour.
