Fairytales do come true. Mine did and so can yours. This 2012 Sophia Moncelli wedding gown is a Kleinfeld exclusive straight off the runway. You may have seen the dress featured twice on TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” in July for Season 8 “What’s My Style?” and, most recently, in January 2013 as a follow-up in Season 9.
This mermaid gown hugs every curve giving you a coveted hourglass figure. Adorned with lace, Swarovski crystals, pearls, and feathers –this show stopping gown will make you feel like a Hollywood star gracing the red carpet.

Every detail was hand sewn on in Spain, and took more than 9 months to complete. These intricate details are what make this dress so special.
I wear a street size 4 and this is a bridal size 10. The dress has been taken in through the bust, waist, and hips, but can be further taken in or let out to fit your body. The sweetheart neckline boasts shaped cups for maximum support and lifting. A bra or corset can be worn in addition, if need be. This dress has a fairly long train, but can also be bustled for your reception.

It was professionally cleaned by the renowned, Davis Imperial Cleaners, in Chicago. They preserve for iconic museums such as the Field Museum, Chicago Cultural Center, etc. While I did not preserve the gown, you can still do so once purchased. To own this dress, one would have to travel to Kleinfeld not only to try and buy, but also for alterations. Buying this dress means bypassing the headache of making several, costly trips to New York City. Below is a breakdown in price from my bridal gown purchasing.
