Photography -anyone heard of Alex Kaplan photography

Hi Everyone.  I came across Alex Kaplan Photography and after speaking with him, his package seems to good to be true - $2600 will get me 2 photographers for8 hours, 3 albums, 100 thank you's, a cd of photos, 6 hours of video and a dvd woth highlights. 

 I priced out oter photographers and they are  about 2,000 more for the same stuff.

Has anyone heard of and or used Alex Kaplan?  I'd like to know if he is good or if he is just cheap and crappy.

    I just booked him! He has all of his rates listed on his site, along with his portfolio. You can also google around for positive reviews.

    You can go to his website and look through all of his pictures. We looked through 30-40 photographer sites and picked out a handful that we liked their style. Alex was one of our top choices. After talking with him about prices, we couldn't say no!

    He seems nice and all but i am just curious about the quality of his work.  Has seen his work in person or just on the site?

    On the site (that works fine?) he has two very large wedding portfolios with a wide range of photos (staged and candid).

    After I booked him he friended me on Facebook. He has over 2,000 friends on there and many, many albums. Try looking him up on FB and friending him to look at more photos. He not only does weddings but headshots and other photography gigs. He isn't a wedding photographer full time, but he IS a photographer full time. I think that's why he's able to have his prices cheaper b/c he has many other options for revenue from photography than just weddings.
