Halloween Wedding Decorations Ideas?

On Halloween of 2010 me and my fiance are getting married.  The ceremony and reception are both in the same large room to help cut costs and confusion.  The theme is "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (a Disney movie for those who haven't heard of it) and we are stumped as to what to use as far as decorations.  We'd like something to go with the movie or even something that's Halloweeny.  We're using pumpkins as the centerpieces/table numbers and carving the table numbers in them, we're also going to scratter those little plastic spiders around the tables along with spider web netting.  Do you have any other ideas?  I'd appreciate all.  Thanks guys!

Look at Pottery Barn, they have some awesome Halloween stuff out right now.

I agree you should check out Pottery Barn, they have some really cool Halloween stuff out right now.  Also Halloween stuff should be at most stores soon if not already.  Check out Michaels and Target.  Just going to the stores and browsing should help you come up with some ideas.  GL

another great place to look for unique decorations is Oriental Trading. They have really cute Holloween stuff. (www.orientaltrading.com)

I love oriental trading, I've been looking through some of their stuff.  I've been to quit a few stores.  Not so much Halloween stuff out yet.  Thanks for the ideas, I'll keep looking!

Have you Googled your theme? You can find inspiration from the images that come up. Are you going for the more cartoony/Tim Burton aesthetic or just general Halloween. I would suggest sticking to one style so it's a little more cohesive. If you would like it more elegant, look at a lot of the Martha Stewart Halloween decoration project. I love her stuff for Halloween.

(By the way, that's one of my fav movies!)

I've googled it and that's where most of our ideas have came from.  We got the pumpkin ideas for Martha Stewart.  We know where to buy the decorations we just don't know what we want to use.  The them is just "Nightmare Before Christmas", the wedding is on Halloween though.

also, I have seen a lot of custom cookie places with photo cookies with nightmare maybe you can have that as favors or make it part of the centerpiece like a cookie display with the pumpkin

Yankee Candle boney bunch.  They have some wedding themed halloween figurines!  Very Cool but they sell fast!
