Reception venue suggestions needed

in New York-Hudson Valley
I'm looking to have our wedding next summer somewhere along the hudson river. We want to have approx. 125-150 with a a budget of $25000. I was thinking about the Half Moom in Irvington, any feedback on this place? If you know of similar venues let me know. Thanks!

    Hotel Thayer at West Point back drop is the husdon river.  If you have your ceremony outside you overlook the hudson.

    Half moon is gorgegous, i looked at that too for my wedding, BUUUT, they only do afternoon weddings on a sat or sunday and you have to be done by 4 because they open up again for dinner since it's a restaurant.  If you want a view of the hudson, you can try the Riverview, or View on the Hudson.  Places are not that updated, but the view is SO PRETTY!  also the whole strip of places in New Rochelle where Surf Club is and Green Tree, all have a view and every place is nice.  so check em out, they are on Davenport Ave.

    I was married at The View.  Setting is so pretty and reasonably priced.

    Look at The James House in Tarrytown - you have to bring in a full caterer
    Also - Westchester Manor is not too far from The Riverview
