Hey girls. I just ran my first 5k of the year. Not only did I beat my goal of finishing under 30 minutes, but I beat my personal best by 2.5 minutes!! I found a 4-leaf clover while I was stretching, and I tucked it into my laces, so I like to think I had the luck o' the irish on my side.

This is also almost the exact anniversary of my very first 5k, and it's amazing to think how far I've come in just a year (I hated running before...now I'm addicted). I think my new (and long-term) goal is to be one of those women who's still doing races in their 70's!
