The wedding itself - it's going to be so much fun! And, our honeymoon!

Hate: Laundry. Don't mind: vacuuming.

Nope - never have really had a reason to.

Never have. But, I recently learned of fainting goats. I never had even heard of them!

Hated: doing dishes  Fav: wouldn't say it my fav but I don't mind doing laundry

 

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why?

Nope- like pp never felt the need to but check back with me in 10 years and we'll see if that stays the same lol!!

 

10. Have you ever fainted? Why?

Yep.  Once.  I had hit my head the night before and didn't realize how bad the gash in the back of my head was til the next morning (I felt fine) and fainted due to the shock (I guess).  Only time I've ever fainted.  One minute standing, the next on I'm lying on the ground!

4. What you do for a living or dream job? I am currently in school for Human Resource Management. When I graduate in 7 months I would love to get into that feild, eventually getting into Arbitration.

5. Looking forward to most with the wedding? The huge party with friends and family, & the honeymoon

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share. I am an avid ACDC fan and will be walking down the isile to a string quartet version

currently 5 on each side plus a flower girl and possibly ring bearer, we might ask a 6th guy and girl

cannot stand washing dishes but thankfully we have a dishwasher now.
I like cleaning the toilet! I know it sounds weird... i think I like having a clean toilet more than cleaning it lol

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why?
only back when I was trying to get in bars before turning 21

10. Have you ever fainted? Why?
Nope and hopefully won't anytime soon!

It'll be 5 years in February '13.

We're both 23 (24 when the wedding rolls around).

4. What you do for a living or dream job?
I'm a 6th grade social studies teacher. (Geez, do we all work in schools? FI is a teacher too!!)

5. Looking forward to most with the wedding?
I can't wait for the honeymoon. It'll be my first time leaving the country!

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share.
I'm a big beer fan - FI and I make a point of trying at least one new beer every Friday.

7. How big is your WP?
The plan is 4 per side, though I haven't ask 1 of my girls yet and FI hasn't asked two of his guys.

8. Most hated chore? Favorite?
Agree with Tiffany - I HATE laundry. I love vacuuming.

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why?
Well, I'm not sure it counts, but I still ask for a student discount as often as possible and use my college ID to get it. I only finished undergrad in 2011 and grad school in 2012, it's not SO bad, right?

10. Have you ever fainted? Why?
More than once, but the worst was as a senior in high school - I gave blood, didn't feel well and went to get a soda from the machine with a friend thinking I needed sugar. I passed out and hit my head on the soda machine, my friend had to run into the band room and get the teacher to page the office, and they came to get me in a wheelchair! Absolutely mortifying as an 18 year old. I later found out that I have a bleeding disorder and I'm not allowed to give blood, since I just keep bleeding and end up passing out!

I'm a pharmacist. Just graduated this past May and wishing I was still in school!

Having all of our loved ones together in one place to celebrate with us

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share.

FI and I could eat Mexican food every single day! The waiters at our favorite Mexican restaraunt showed up at FI's last b-day party with 5 gallons of margaritas!

5 on each side and 3 ushers 

8. Most hated chore? Favorite?

Most hated - taking out the trash. Favorite - making my bed (makes me feel more organized!)

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why?

No but I do still use my student ID like the previous poster! 

10. Have you ever fainted? Why?

Once while having my blood drawn. I told the nurse I didn't feel well, and she said "hang on, let me finish here". Next thing I know I'm waking up on the exam table!

7 years. We were high school sweethearts.
3. How old are you two?
He's 23 and I'll be 23 in about a month.
4. What you do for a living or dream job?
I'm a receptionist right now and I don't much care for it. Good money, though. I'm also interning at a pregnancy center (I'm a social work major.) I love doing that. 
5. Looking forward to most with the wedding?
After the wedding....We'll finally be living together and won't have to worry about driving home after spending time together!
6. A random thing about you, you will like to share.

I took dance lessons for 15 years. Ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and lyrical. I stopped after high school so it's been years now since I last did that kind of stuff. I really, really miss it.

7. How big is your WP?

The plan is to have four on both sides. I've already asked my four girls and my FI has asked 3 of his guys.

8. Most hated chore? Favorite?

Most hated would probably be laundry. Favorite would be washing the dishes...By hand. I don't know, I just find it relaxing!

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why?

People tend to think I look much younger than I am, so I recently messed up a new volunteer at my internship. She asked if I was in high school or college and I was slightly offended, so I told her with a totally straight face that I was 32. She freaked out and apologized for thinking I was so young, haha! It was okay, I told her I was joking and my field instructor laughed.

4.5 years, ish

Both 24. We're both born in July so it will be his 25th birthday, my 25th birthday, wedding, BAM! haha

4. What you do for a living or dream job?

I work in PR, he is at law school (but he worked in TV for a few years before).

5. Looking forward to most with the wedding?

I'm hoping the weekend of our wedding is an excuse for everyone to let loose and have a good time. Fingers crossed the stress doesn't ruin this. 

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share.

My username is the phonetic of my actual name, Megan. (M-E-G-A-N, say it out loud, ha)

 

7. How big is your WP?

I'm having 5 bridesmaids (was 6 a bit ago, but one dropped out a year in advance? fun story), my fiance is having 7 groomsmen not including his 3 brothers.

 

8. Most hated chore? Favorite?

I refuse to clean drains or take out the garbage. I think cleaning the kitchen is satisfying. Once I get the will to take the vacuum out, I also find that satisfying. 

 

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why?

Yes, sort of. I bought a fake ID freshman year of college, but I don't think I was actually ever carded. The first year I worked in PR, I was told explicitly to not tell clients my age because it wouldn't look good to have someone so young handling so much on their account? Sketch.

 

10. Have you ever fainted? Why?

Nope.

2. How long have you and the FI been together?  Since 1994.  Yep.  You are reading that right.  We've been off and on though.  LOL!  Our last stint which is leading to marriage has been from 2004.  

3. How old are you two? Me - 44, He - 50.  Yep.  We consider ourselves an "older" young couple.  Hee-Hee.

4. What you do for a living or dream job?  Dream Job - Writer;   Reality Check - Controller

5. Looking forward to most with the wedding?   I just want to hear the officiant say " I now pronounce you man and wife".  Goodness knows I've waited long enough.  Sheesh!  Then after that, the reception.  At that point I will be married.  Woohoo!!

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share.   I've never had a cavity. 

 

7. How big is your WP?  3 BM, 2 FG, 2 GM, 1 BM  Total 8 for now

 

8. Most hated chore?  Sorting and opening the mail.  Favorite?  Folding clothes.

9. Have you ever lied about your age? No.  Never had a need to. Why?  I am proud of my age and blessed to see each additional year. 

10. Have you ever fainted?  Almost three times. Why? Twice for locking my knees and once after getting blood drawn.  I didn't knock out but I did see the stars and the black tunnel.  Each time someone was with me and saw what was happening.  They got me to sit or lay down until I recuperated.

It will be 5 years for us just before our wedding day as well!

I am 27, he is 33

4. What you do for a living or dream job?
I'm an environmental science grad student.  When I graduate (also next August) I would love to work for a consulting firm or government agency doing wetlands work

5. Looking forward to most with the wedding?

Getting all of our friends and family together, and finally being able to call him my husband!

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share.

I just agreed to run my first 5K on Thanksgiving morning with my best friend/MOH, and though I'm generally healthy I currently don't run at all.  Hopefully I'll start tomorrow...

 

7. How big is your WP?

Pretty big; 1 MOH, 5 BMs, and a "bridesman" who is actually going to stand on FI's side (by his own request).  FI will have 5 guys but has only asked his BM so far.

 

8. Most hated chore? Favorite?

We tend to have a lot of silly fights about who does the dishes.  I love cooking (it doesn't even seem like a chore) and don't mind doing our budgeting and financial stuff

 

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why?

The same as most of you, just to get into bars in college

 

10. Have you ever fainted? Why?

I've fainted several times; my doctor says I have slightly low blood sugar (nothing serious or anything) and I get a "head rush" when I stand up too fast.  Most of the times I've actually fainted I can trace it back to being dehydrated on a hot day.

Stardust, we love trying new beers too!  Right now every week we are trying a new pumpkin beer, so yummy.

4. What you do for a living or dream job?  FI = bartender. I am a Nurses Assistant at a hospital, Travel Agent, and Counter Girl @ the local donut shop, as well as a student studing Respiratory Therapy. Hope to be a successful Respiratory Therapist after Spring of 2014.

5. Looking forward to most with the wedding? Walking down the aisle & seeing FI's emotions, celebrating with all of my friends and family, and the honeymoon!

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share. I am totally obsessively in love with our dogs. We have 2 Beagle/Basset Hound mixes (brother & sister!) and one Rottweiler, who is turning 1 on November 2nd. I would do anything for them!

7. How big is your WP? Larger than originally planned..1 Maid of Honor, 6 bridesmaids. FI hasn't decided on his groomsmen yet. It's looking like 7 Groomsmen and 0 Best Man.

8. Most hated chore? Favorite? Laundry! Thankfully FI enjoys doing it. I like doing the dishes and vacumming the couch.

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why? Not that I remember. Maybe when I was under 21 to get a drink!

LOVING the pumpkin right now. It's not a beer, it's a hard cider, but we loved the Woodchuck Hard Cider Pumpkin Cider was SO good. It's a limited reserve, so it might be hard to find (our liquor store got just one case) but it was really delicious.

5. Looking forward to most with the wedding?  Our friends and family live all over the country, so we are both looking forward to seeing lots of people we haven't seen in a while!

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share.  Many years ago, when I lived in NYC, I once helped Hillary Swank (the actress) fight a parking ticket, so she had me over to her house to have beers with her and her then-husband, Chad Lowe.  Nice people. Random, but true.  

7. How big is your WP?  Just 2 - my MOH and FI's BM.

8. Most hated chore? Favorite? Hate- cleaning the litter boxes (we have 3 cats); Favorite? Maybe unloading the dishwasher.

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why?  Just in college, to get into bars, etc.

10. Have you ever fainted? Why?  Yes, many years ago.  It was the morning after my friend's bachlorette party, which involved a good deal of drinking.  I went into the bathroom and next thing I knew, I was on the floor.  Luckily, I didn't hit my head on anything.   It was scary because I felt fine (well, hungover, but not lightheaded) when I walked in there, then next thing I knew I was waking up on the floor.

4. What you do for a living or dream job? In school to be an Elem Ed teacher. Currently a Toddler teacher, I love my job!

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share. I ride dressage equestrian (the really boring stuff in the olympics ;-) ) I think it's fun and would love to own my own horse some day!

I tried that one once, it was delicious! Now I definitely can't find it anymore.  My favorite pumpkins are Southern Tier Pumpking and Dogfish Head Punkin, but sadly it seems like our local liquor store is already switching to Winter beers.  Way too soon for me!

2. How long have you and the FI been together? Long enough to know that he's "the one"

3. How old are you two? I'm 28 and he's 37.

4. What you do for a living or dream job? I have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice but don't use it. Instead, I work in home care for the elderly. He works for his uncles business as the shop foreman. He used to own an Agway store.

5. Looking forward to most with the wedding? I'm excited to be married to him, so I guess the vows. The rest is all just extra.

6. A random thing about you, you will like to share. My dog is like my 3rd child. She's a mini dachshund and I got her 3 weeks before I gave birth to my son. We had 2 more dogs but had to give them to friends when we moved- they were a yellow lab and a basset hound. I miss them.

7. How big is your WP? A maid, a matron and a bridesmaid.

8. Most hated chore? Favorite? Dusting! I hate dusting. I love to vacuum.

9. Have you ever lied about your age? Why? I've never lied. I'm always told I look 20-22 so I don't need to lie.

10. Have you ever fainted? Why? Never fainted but was close during a hypoglycemic episode.

Why? Yes lately when I give blood now, I never was that way before then within the last year I've had terrible reactions which have resulted in me fainting.
