Invitation wording

Hi,

I'm wondering if someone can help with this.  My fiance's mom, my mom, and some aunts, and us of course are helping pay for the wedding.  So funds are coming from family members.  My father is coming to the wedding, but long story short, he has not contributed anything.  How do I word my invite???  The knot says to put our  names and  followed by parent's names.  I don't want to include  my dad's name there if he hasn't helped at all.  Do I include his name or not???

    how about :

    Bride name

    and grooms name

    together with their families

    invite you to....................

that way you dont have a TON of names on the invitations and its not specific.

I agree. We had the same situation and we used similar wording. Maybe that works for you? Ours read as follows:

    Together with our families
    Jane Doe
    and
    John Smith
    invite you to ....

Keep in mind that the people listed first on an invite are the ones hosting - this isn't really the same as who is paying, although that is how many people see it.

I agree with pp, and say use: Together with their families, Jane Doe and John Smith...

Thanks so much.  I like the "together with their ideas" wording.
