I am selling my gently used Monique Lhuiller Collette couture bridal gown. It is truly an amazing dress. Toni Collette originally wore this dress, a part of the Resort 2010 Collection to the 2009 Emmy Awards. Monique then created this same dress in ivory as part of the Fall 2010 Bridal Collection. This strapless, dropped waist triple organdy ball gown features a pleated bodice and full embroidered skirt that is hand sewn, layer by layer. Each dress is custom made, by hand, and takes 11 months to create (this is what the salon told me when I purchased it)!
I purchased this dress at the most amazing designer salon in Chicago. I was able to order the size 0 at no extra charge because the rep was onsite that day. It did receive alterations (see measurements below) as the dress sits perfectly on your hips to prevent that constant tugging and pulling you see so many brides doing when they wear a strapless dress. The construction of this dress allows free and easy movement, without worrying that your dress is sliding down! The back of the dress has a French Bustle with snaps that have been color-coded to easily bustle the dress. I will also include the satin bow I wore with the dress free of charge ($200 value.)
I have the original receipt for proof of purchase and the receipt for the dry-cleaning. The gown originally retailed for $8300. I received a 10% off, but with tax I paid $8235.

RETURN POLICY
Once you receive the dress, you will need to contact me by email within (3) three days of receiving (signing for) to state whether you will be keeping the dress or returning it. The dress would then need to be shipped back by UPS or Fedex fully insured and be received by me within (7) seven business days in the same condition as it was sent. Once I receive the item, I will inspect it and, if in the same condition as the item was sent to you, I will refund the price of the item. The shipping to you and from you would not be refunded, only the cost of the item.
If I do not hear from you within (3) three days of receiving (signing for) the item, I will consider the item satisfactory and no returns/refunds would be accepted.
I am also happy to have you come by and try it on in person – no perfumes, lotions, tanners, etc to protect the dress!
