Just a Quick Hello!

I just wanted to say hello and ntroduce myself to everyone.  I'm new to the Hudson Valley Board.  My fiance and I live and work in Westchester and Rockland County and will be having our wedding in Northern New Jersey in November of this year.  We are in the middle of planning a 300+ guest wedding at Florentine Gardens for November 12th.

Welcome to the board!  My cousin just got married there on Valentine's Day.  It was beautiful and the food was great!!  You are going to be so happy!!

As a side note- they went with the house dj and photo/video.... it's definitely worth it!  You have full use of all their video equipment and they really know how to work the room.  Also, make sure you purchase your own mailbox- that's the only not great thing they had to say... I guess there was some "issues" with the one that the place let them use.

Mocknine....thanks for the heads up on the mailbox.  I was going to ask them about using their box, but now I'm just going to order my own. 

I've never been to a wedding a Florentine and just came across it while looking at venues.  I fell in love with it when I saw it.  Would love to hear any feedback about food you had their that you liked/didn't like.  We have our tasting next month.
