My wedding is August 24th! I've booked my venue and I have my dress but there is so much left to do! I'm doing our rentals this week and hope to finalize a caterer soon. I feel so far behind everybody else though!

Hi Kristine! Don't worry, I feel far behind people too. My FI proposed this last December 23rd, and with us wanting to get married this summer, we have a lot to do in a shorter time than most! Within the 3.5 weeks we've been engaged, I have booked our venue (includes catering yay!) and date (August 2nd!), officiant, and DJ.

I have appointments in a week for cake tasting and wedding gown shopping! Two of my favorite parts of the planning process!!!

I actually would probably have more done, but I just graduated nursing school and am currently studying to take my "boards" (NCLEX) to become an RN!

My biggest stressor now is finding a good photographer for a good price! They are just so gosh darn expensive :-(

Sorry, I could go on and on about our plans, but what I really wanted to say is when you are feeling you are getting overwhelmed, take a deep breath and know that everything is going to turn out perfectly. Remember to have fun!
