Salon Recommendations

Hi!  I have a rather large wedding party and would rather go to a salon to have everyone's hair and make-up done rather then have someone come to my home.  I am getting married in New Rochelle.  Can anyone recommend a salon that does hair and makeup?  Has anyone been to the Red Door Spa in the White Plains mall? Thanks!Liz

i've been to red door plenty of times, they're good but expensive. try oggi adam & eve on central avenue, that's where i go normally and my stylist will also be doing my hair for the wedding. they do a lot of weddings and events there and should be able to accommodate you.

    hi there..

i've got 2 recommendations for you in the new rochelle area..

first is knotz which is on boston post rd in new rochelle closer to new roc city or that mcdonalds over on that side of town. my moms friend kerri has worked there for years and they do great work. they've got a rather large staff that i'm sure will be able to accommodate your party.

second is salon posh, also on boston post rd but in mamaroneck ... right across from the harbor ... near the bmw showroom. my friends sister, gina, just opened up this salon a couple months ago. her and her business partner diane have been doing hair for yearssss and know very well what they're doing.

both would be excellent choices =)

    good luck!!

oh and i believe that both salons have affiliations with makeup artists who can also come to the salons.

I recently went to a hair/make-up showcase at Salon V in Mamaroneck.  The stylist did my hair based on a description I gave her and in 5 minutes she gave me exactly what I want my wedding hair to look like without washing/dyring oranything. I was very impressed. Their make-up artist was great too.
