Cooking or takeout? Tried any new recipes lately?

FI is on his own tonight!  He will probably do takeout since he has a golf league today.  I will be at a union conference which serves so much food, we call it "a cruise on land".  These next three days will not be good for fitting into my dress!!

We have our rehearsal at Patriot Hills tonight, so it's our Unofficial Rehearsal Dinner.

It'll be a small crew (maybe our priest, our parents, 2 BMs, 1 GM and the FGs)- either the diner or a veggie friendly Chinese restaurant I heard about in Pomona.  I'm pretty sure we'll end up at the diner, which is cool.  Grilled veggie wrap, here I come!

tonight i hamburgers... but last night i tried out something new and it was absolutely delish so i will share:
shrimp scampi
chicken cutlets rolled in fresh mozzarella and baked with white wine and olive oil
angel hair pasta topped with the scampi sauce for husband- put it in the pan and mixed it around before serving
angel hair pasta topped with olive oil, onions garlic for me- same thing with the pan
and lastly, garlic bread

it was delish!!!
