Wedding Planner Tip

I hired my planner for full service planning.  She has been fantastic and has gone about and beyond.  Her fee was $2500 which she has been well worth.  I want to tip her to show my appreciation and the Knot says up to $500 but that seems kind of high, no?

I think that is a little high especially if they own their own business,  I would say $250 is a GREAT tip
