  • Desperate Bride, HUGE TIP:  Take a leaf and place it under any and all glass platters, even lightly colored ones. (when you can find one that isn't all brown and crumpled).  It will flatten and STAY colored and look "just picked for like 10 days bc it can't oxidize under there.  Cut bare branches and leafed ones and place in goodwill vases or ball jars (canning jars) and antique jars or vases from grandma and aunt viv.  Place tiny solar lights or batt. operated lights in that.  ALso, EMBELLISH! When you think it looks good, add another layer, Then one more, Example: If you tie shhers around poles. tie it with 2 thick strands, say 1 of burlap then on top of that, add a tie of bridesmaids fabric. It'll look so much more complete, THEN. add Christmas lights under the sheer fabric (borrowed from all relatives/friends) THEN step back and consider adding one moe layer like pin flowers onto the bows you made with burlap. Tie the flowers with a bit of ribbon. THEn add a fkickering candle at the base, in a jar or vase or hurricaine globe. It just pumps up the pizazz factor with little $$, In the tables, put the usual---flowers, moss, add pinecones and a framed pic or you an your guy. It will cost a little but it can so souble duty as decor for a couple of walls in your home later.  Twist wire around smaller jars and hang in trees with candles. BE SURE the candles will burn awhile longer than tea lites.
