This gown, circa mid 1940's is made from dutchess satin. The fiber content is rayon based and may have a silk top finish.
Features a sweetheart neckline, long pointed puffy sleeve. In addition, it has 2 insets of delicate ruching on the bodice. A bustle has been added for the reception.
The back has closure of half round pearlized buttons with handmade loops.
Gown as is would fit today's bride size 6 or smaller, however with the fabric from the sleeves it could be enlarged in the bodice to a size 12.

Cathedral length mantilla made from sheer net edged with scalloped alencon lace.
Two additional rows of cut out alencon lace that has been appliqued inside the lace border to form a three row design. Veil is attached to a cap covered with matching lace and lined with venice lace. Pristine condition. Asking $4300. Pictures available.
