 Can anyone reccommend a goood and affordable videographer in the Hudson Valley?

    I'm also curious about this. I approached someone for video, and he told me $500 for a 20 minute ceremony. We're not really interested in taping the reception, and it took me a minute to pull my jaw off the floor.

    All depends on what you mean by "affordable"

    We used Majestic Studios. We had our photography through them as well.

    Digital Weddings also does both photo and video.

    i used a place out of south nj who were really affordable and had a great product and tons of packages to choose from.  they are called alliance video productions.  you can view some of their videos online

    Pezaddict - I also inquired about having JUST the ceremony taped and I was told it was $500. Personally, it's not worth it to me. I'm going to have two different friends or family members tape it and hopefully it comes out good. A friend of mine did that and she was happy with the quality of the video.

    I even won a videography package at a bridal show, but the trick was that I had to pick a package that was at least $1,400. They wouldn't even cut me a deal on just taping the ceremony. They actually told me that it was worthwhile for them to take such a small job in the month of July when they could be hired to tape an entire wedding.

    The photographer we used is someone I keep in touch with and reccomend all of the time. She said that she is starting to offer video as well. Very affordable for unbeatable quality. Probably just need to e-mail her for a sample. Might be worth looking into if you haven't already found a photographer.

    "best of times"...they have different packages at varying price points....and they only do video...=) thats who im going with....theyre in new windsor on route 9w
