how to create backdrop.

I have been looking for ways to make the plain white wall at the church we are getting married at look pretty. I have found this image and completely love the idea but I havent been able to find how it was created. http://pinterest.com/pin/31454897367588561/
Any ideas? It almost looks like a projection but im not sure.
Do you have any similiar ideas for a backdrop?

Yes, that is a projection, possibly using a printed gel mounted on a canned light. You should probably talk to the church about what lighting options are available. They likely have someone, maybe a member volunteer if not a staff member, who could help you out with figuring out how to achieve that type of result with what they have available or where to rent what would be necessary.

Are you having a fall wedding?  We rented trees from a florist.  $200 for the trees (2 of them, set up/delivery, lights and flowers included).  They also delivered the trees to the reception and put behind the head table...it was very nice and worth it (in my opinion).
