Charter Bus Costs

Hello,

My fiance and I are currently venue hunting in hudson valley area for a fall 2012 wedding. We realized that transportation for our guests to/from the hotel and reception is a must. We'll have a lot of out-of-towners and its easy to get lost up in Hudson Valley! Plus, we want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves and get home safely.

So...we're trying to factor charter buses into our budget and really have no concept of how much they cost. West Point Tours and JTR seem to go highly recommended, but Im still waiting on a quote back from them and am anxious to get a ballpark number. Anyone know estimates? Drive time to/from would be about 20min.

    Hey there-
    I am still waiting to hear back from JTR as well, but I did receive a quote from J&R tours and Peter Pan bus.  They were $1300 and $1000 respectively.  As you are, we are shuttling our guests from the hotel to the venue and back again.

    I am not sure where your wedding is taking place but I used JTR and it cost me around 1,000 for 3 trips there and 2 return trips.  HTH

    I used JTR and i think the biggest bus was quoted as 900 (before tax, etc) and then the smaller buses were lower.  THey were great.  It included three trips from the venue to the hotel (about 20 mins)

    Thanks so much for all the insight! Trying to get a budget together and I'm finding it's not a quick process to get estimates sometimes. I have heard a lot of great review of JTR though.
