Is this a crazy idea?

Ok so in trying to come up with a place that will allow us to have a small wedding (-50ppl.) it's almost near impossible in the Westchester area. So, I came up with a somewhat cute solution. We get married at Glen Island(we use to go there when we were teens and dating, so its memorable for us), then go have an early dinner or whatnot at a nice restaurant with our 35 or so people (hopefully have a private room where they will at the very least let us play an ipod for our first dance song and thats it) and for whoever would like to go out dancing...we go to a nice lounge type place where they play some good music.

I'm not from the area, so I can't really help too much with places, but it seems like it could work!

Just keep in mind that some of your guests will be going to three different places, so try to keep them in the same general vicinity. And maybe look into transportation if you're worried about guest drinking at dinner and driving to drinks/dancing after?

That I know and most of our guests do not drink very much, so we may not even have the beer and wine at the restaurant. Everyone will know wayyy ahead of time of details and we will definitely provide transport for any who have trouble. It is all our immediate family and a few friends is all. The dancing thing would be for anyone who is up for it. So not mandatory that people come along. I was thinking maybe having this in an area where all 3 things can be done close like AC or something. I just really like the idea of Glen Island for sentimental reasons.
