Help with Mother of Bride dress!!

Hello, My wedding is in one month and my mom is having the most horrible experience with her dress.  It's breaking my heart that she's so stressed out about her dress that she was so excited about.  We have absolutely no faith in this store that they'll deliver her dress at this point.  We deicded we must look for a backup to feel comfortable.  Does anyone know of a place that can make a dress quickly - good customer service and actually doing what they promise is all we need!!!  Thank you!

    Both my mom and grandmother got their dresses off the clearance rack at David's Bridal and they looked spectacular.  Since your wedding is in a month I'd go there.  They have a good selection of dresses.  Customer service is hit or miss depending on which one you go to and my experience has always been to have any alterations done somewhere else but when you are in a time crunch that's my suggestion.

    She can also check, Macy's, Nordstom's and any of the dept. stores.

    I would check out department stores. With only a month to go I think you'll need to buy off the rack.

    ditto the department stores, there isn't time to have something made.

    my FMIL found 2 MOG dresses she wore at Macys. Off the rack, no alt's needed

    my FMIL got her dress at bloomingdales. it's a little long but otherwise fits her just fine. also look at lord and taylors, they're always having sales!

    My mom got her dress at Nordstrom's and it was great!  She got such compliments and it looked like a very expensive dress and so was not. 

    Definitely do the department store route and then if she needs some nips and tucks, you have time.

    Def check department stores-Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Macy's

    Exactly this. And also check JC Penney's dress department.
