We are looking to do something different- no sand ceremony or unity candle. Thinking of doing a "love lock box," kind of like a time capsule, to be opened at out 5 or 10 year aniversary.
My origal idea came from someone that said they locked a bottle of wine and letters to each other, but we don't drink! I still like the letter idea, as well as taking a Polaroid of us placing the items in the box, and putting the pic in before it develops. Also thought about making a cute questionere that we could exchange that morning to lock up as well.
