I am wondering if anyone has recently planned/held a wedding at Buttermilk Falls Inn in Milton, NY? In addition to overall impressions, I am particularly curious about total costs (incl catering with Main Course Catering or another caterer), and whether there are alternative spaces in case of bad weather (or do you bring in your own tent?)?
I have recently started looking at venues in lower hudson valley, including the Garrison and Highlands Country club. I like that people can stay at Buttermilk and that you can rent the whole place for the weekend, but I worry about an all-outdoor affair (we are looking for a Fall wedding), the cost of rooms for guests, and the cost of the event.
