Photographer advice

Hi,

We are starting to work with photographers and we have met with a few.  We are going to have a outdoor ceremony at Dolce Palisades after dusk so we are concerned about making sure we have someone who will take amazing pictures in the dark even though there will be lighting.  Any feedback on any of the photographers below would be very much appreciated!

Thanks!

    Hi! congrats on your wedding!

That place is beautiful! Great choice for  avenue!

As far as photogs go, we used Majestic Studios for our wedding.

But of the ones you have listed:

Jimi Ferrara, Jose Reyes and Rick Helman have been mentioned on here quite a bit.

I've never heard of the other two you listed.

I know that's not much help, but wanted to say congrats!

I don't have any reviews for you but when I was looking for a photographer a few months back, Jose Reyes was one of the ones whose work I was really impressed with.

I ended up choosing Kimberly Salem and I can't wait ti work with her. Her name is mentioned here fairly often and that's how I found out about her.

I've heard fabulous things about Kenny Pang. He is more popular on the NYC board - at least he used to be. I've never seen him mentioned on this board, but his photos are stunning.

Think about Robert Wayne Photography.  He's in NJ, but I know he travels.  One of the weddings he showed us was in a glass conservatory, but it was at night with only very low lighting.  I'm not even sure how he shot it because I would think flash would bounce right back into the camera, but the pictures looked great.

I used Jose Reyes and I loved him! He's a great photog, and he was great to have around the day of. He really kept things moving and kept us on schedule, which was so helpful. If you want to see some pics, I put some up on FB:

We looked at working with Jose Reyes, who I would reccommend. But who we went with in the end blew us away both in personality and skill. I seriously reccomend her all the time because she was that good and gave us a really affordable rate. Worth checking out, but it seems like you have a good line up already.
