Outdoor Berkshires/Hudson Valley/Catskills wedding -- which summer month is best?

Hi everyone,

We are still choosing our wedding date but would like expert opinions on weather in the Berkshires (Sheffield, Lenox), Hudson Valley or Catskills area. Is June too chilly? Is August too hot? Ceremony and reception will be outside, starting around 4 pm.

I've been in the winter and in July but not other times.

    You can't control the weather. Pick a venue that has the option of a Plan B (moving things indoors if necessary). Tents are lovely, but if the wind blows, you may have problems.
    Keep those things in mind and try to find a place that you love.
