hair/make up salon, rye ny

I am looking for a hair/make up salon for myself and my girls to go to the day of the wedding for updo's and we would like airbrushed make up too, any suggestions?

Also any preference whether you think it is better to go tot he salon or them to come to you?

thanks!

It's generally more expensive to have them come to you, but in my opinion, the convenience was worth the extra money.

For make-up I recommend Jill from JK Flashy. She is based out of White Plains and is amazing! I cannot rave enough about her.

I also say Jill for makeup. She comes to you.

I don't have any to recommend. But since you asked about preference...

It all depends on you. And what you are looking for.

Salons have everything right there. And can do hair and make-up at one place. They also usually cost less than getting someone to come to you. There is more staff on hand to take care of large parties.

But, you have to be up and get everyone to travel to the salon. Earlier than if someone came to you.

Salons that do makeup ofen Don't do airbrushing.

Getting someone to come to you might be more expensive, you have to plan the time more accordingly if one make-up artist and one hair stylist are doing five peoples hair and makeup.

It's another person in your house the morning of your wedding. And do you physically have the room.

But, if someone came to you, you would get more personal attention and you would have the option for airbrushing (and eyelashes).

Just some things to think about.

    GL! HTH!
