Poughkeepsie Photo Sites

So I need some help. I am getting married next month at the Grandview and want to take some pictures before the wedding. I want a mix of urban and natural photos. For the urban photos I plan on going to the Poughkeepsie train station and just around main street. For the natural photos I planned on going to Locust Grove or Quiet Cove park...well Locust Grove is having a huge concert that day and Quiet Cove is closed for renovations.

Do you ladies know of any other natural/woodsy type place we can take photos relatively near the Grandview or Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel/Main Street??

I am from Seattle and live in Westchester so I am completely at a loss.

And for the urban type shots - definitely go for the intersection of main and market street (by the Grand) to get some really cool city shots. (And as you said, the train station area is good too)

No problem! We looked at the Grand and we wondered where to take outside pictures had we gotten married there. I even asked the city if I could take pictures at their park by their office. (At City Hall) He said I was the first to ask and would have loved to see some shots! But we ended up going with a golf course.
