I have a brand new with tags dress from David's Bridal that I tried on, fell in love with, and then long story short - my wedding went in a different direction and I purchased another dress. If I wasn't having a very short ceremony at the same location of my reception, I probably would have changed dresses and used this one for my reception.
This is a BRAND NEW size 14, strapless dress in soft white. I'm a street size 12, 5'8 and it fits perfect. The style number is WG3148 and there is a Galina tag inside of it. It was a preview dress that was available to purchase in only a few select stores. I had to contact David's Bridal directly to get a picture of the dress (the one below) since I could not find out anything about the dress online after I bought it.
The dress is extremely lightweight and I fell in love with the bottom of it. I've had some people tell me it somewhat looks like feathers. It comes with a thin velvet sash (I had planned on changing it out to navy to match my bridesmaids) and then it a flower on the right hip. The flower has a few sequins and seed beads in the middle of it. There is a very small train on the back (extension of the tulle/feathers)
This dress looks so much better in person. True story - my friend and I kept pulling this dress out of the sale rack but we both kept saying "ugh - it's a chiffon/tulle mess...." but for whatever reason - she covinced me to try it on. It was my 4th dress and I loved it! (and the price). I came home with it that night and have tried it on for friends and family and they all love it. Like I said - our wedding is now going a different direction and my bridesmaid dresses are more "formal" than this wedding dress so sadly I am going to part with it. I even considered getting it cut down and dyed to wear for my shower but then I would lose the tulle on the bottom - which makes this dress in my opinion.
This dress was the only one in the store and it was marked down and down and down. I paid $199 for it but would take $100 so someone else can use it plus shipping. It's in a David's garmet bag and has been stored in a smoke-free home. I can take additional pictures if needed.
