Digital Weddings?

Anyone ever use them? what are your thoughts?

I just started looking at vendors, and they were my first photography/videography one.  This is what they offered:

two photographers all day
 an engagement session
 thank you cards and photos,
(2) 8x10 and (1) 11x14,
rights to all our photos,
all of our photos (between 1000-1400) on cd and in high resolution,
a videographer all day ,
a fully edited dvd between 1 1/2- 2 hours long,

for $3500

i did not want an album as i plan to make one online

Is this decent? can I do better?

i paid $5,500.00 just for a photographer no video included  so i would say it's a decent price, have you seen any of his work?

Price-wise it's excellent, but it really depends on the quality. I would actually hesitate because we paid that much for just our photos on cd and printed proofs.

we met with them last night, i looked through the albums and their work and it is pretty good in my opinion. my fiance thought so too. just wasnt sure whats considered a good deal price wise

Sounds like a GREAT price to me and if you liked his work, then that is all that matters.  If you are nervous, ask for references.  But, I think you should go with your gut...that is a wonderful deal!

Definitely a good deal so if you liked the work that's great!

If you like their work that's great.  I've never heard of them.  You may want to ask them for some references so you can speak directly with people who used them.  I would think it's more common to pay that much without the video.

sounds like a good deal to me.  Like PP mentioned, see if you can find any previous recs and see what they say and if you liked them, its a go

thanks a lot ladies! they said they would hold my date for 2 weeks, so i think i will email him and ask for references in the meantime! thanks for that suggestion!
