Hello Ladies,

I am getting married in White Plains in July, but I don't live there and am not too familiar with the area.  Any other brides around White Plains?  Any recommendations?  Who should I call, who should I avoid?

in terms of a florist, i recommend danny from westchester floral. he is freaking phenomenal. i can send you pics from my wedding so u can see the flowers but they were so beautiful they almost looked fake. also he will work with any budget and is just the nicest most fun guy in westchester.

i would stay away from arcadia. overpriced and very snotty/tough to work wtih.

ive just booked bed of roses. carl was great. he came recommended from a friend who just got married and have heard nothing but good things about him on the knot. he was really nice and enthusiastic when i met him and we booked him on the spot.

Ladies, Thanks for all the recs.  I am supposed to be going up to WP this weekend with my MOH.  The major problem is, I don't really know what I want yet.  I know that is ridiculous...I keep looking at pics etc.  I just don't want to spend tons on flowers.

I will give Carl a call and see if I can get there this weekend. No car, so will see if I can do a train hop

i am using westchester floral and when i went in there i had no idea what i wanted, and sure enough danny was able to create a beautiful image for me!! he worked with my budget and was super friendly!!

I'm using Diana Gould LTD, in Elmsford, NY (which is right next to WP), and I'm working with Charmaine.  I LOVE her!!  She has fantastic ideas, and was really great about keeping everything within the budget I gave her.

I'm also using Westchester Floral Decorators and Danny has been AWESOME!!  They are just a short walk from the Pelham Metro North Station.

another for westchester floral. our venue limited us to them or diana gould. we met with both florists, and westchester floral was half the price for pretty much the same thing. so....yea we went with them lol. danny also comes HIGHLY recommended by numerous people, so we're quite comfortable with them.
