    Friends of mine did this too. They didn't pay for the whole thing by just cans alone, but they would take cans and bottle back to get the deposit and saved all of it up. They'd even leave summer BBQs and parties with all the empties to cash in.

    I don't know how much they ended up saving but they did this for about a year and it sure does add up.

    ah, that girl posts on offbeat bride =) I've seen her progress on it, but I stopped checking that siote after I got married. Good for her for reaching the goal.
