Help! i need 2 cancel my account

HI ladies , this may sound stupid but how do i cancel my account on here? I didnt realize my username is my email..i know how did i not realize ,but i really didnt until sum1 brought it 2 my attention. So i went into my account and i can't seem 2 find a cancel option. I am sure it is right onfront of me but i am not noticing it ? Any1 help all i wanna do is cancel and rejoin....lol Thanks ladies

I had to do the same thing because I originally made my name a combination of our last names lol!  Here is what I found and it worked:

"We're so sorry to hear that your wedding has been canceled. Just email us at membersupport@theknot.com with the subject line “Delete My Membership” and we'll take care of it within 72 hours. You will not receive a confirmation."

Even though your wedding isn't canceled its the only way to delete the account.

Do as PP stated above ...then wait a few days and try to open the new account it should be ok.

So i am back under a new name! Thanks again ladies. My old account will take sumtime but i was able to sign right back up.
